On Tuesday, President Donald Trump made the announcement from the White House that he is pulling the United States out of the Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was reached during President Obama’s time in office in 2015.

“This was a horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made,” he said. “It didn’t bring calm, it didn’t bring peace, and it never will.”

Obama quickly responded in a long statement explaining, “Walking away from the JCPOA turns our back on America’s closest allies, and an agreement that our country’s leading diplomats, scientists, and intelligence professionals negotiated.”

Now, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has weighed in.
“Pulling out of the Iran deal is a big mistake,” she said in her first tweet. “It makes America less safe and less trusted.”

She then argued that “our credibility is shot.”

She concluded, “Now we have no leverage and Iran is free to do what it wants.”
